People often overlook Elric of Melnibone and don't realize just how influential the books are; I would say Drizzt aesthetically is inspired by Elric, but he's definitely more standard heroic fare in personality. Geralt for sure though- they both have the conflicting morality thing going on, they both have some idea of a 'curse' or whatever (Geralt being a mutant, Elric having the vampiric sword), and they are both also really into their special drugs.
