There may be some games that are Forgotten, but are still fun or interesting to play. Though most may not know about it. Maybe it'll help people to discover older games to play, just for a different experience since most may feel that, there isn't much out there now. What are some that you all know? I know people would probably be interested in finding new homies, or folk to play with. It doesn't have to be just PC Games.

Video Examples that inspired this post:

Ninelives MMO:

Phantom Dust:

You can still play Laser Arena online:

Nerdslayer has a whole series on dead or dying games and will share usually if they have come back online via the community. Some that have died that I don't recall if they ever came back: gunz, archlord. I think combat arms is still up and I recently tried .hack//fragment. I wish the process of getting back into revived games was less involved, but its nice not having the worst the Internet and modern times has to offer in your video games.

I got confused cause that's not flash that''s some ruffle that kinda works but doesn't. Alright, alright I stood and went to my desk, now I'm included. Wish BFME was that easy.

I'm hopeful that someone is still working on getting servers back up for Megaman X Online Deathmatch.

I single-handedly got people so butthurt over using Gravity Well on Doppler's stage that they banned me from the room for 1000 hours and changed the stage to remove the ceiling spikes.

This topic really interests me, it wasn't so long ago that even PS3 servers for some multiplayer games were still being hosted. It kind of reminds me of that story about those old AOL chatrooms from the 90s that were still being used by old people on the original AOL client before they were shut down a few years ago. For some reason what comes to mind is The Pirates of the Burning Sea, it has a very small but friendly player base with a very dedicated team of developers. That's a slightly more obscure one that's easier for most people to get in to than others!

Unreal Tournament 99 and 2k4 are both still maintained playable online by fans, since Epic abandoned them with short notice. Quake 3 Arena is also playable, but then there's also QuakeLive and Champions to play, which are less forgotten.

What I really wanna mention, is the Hawakening project, which was fans reviving one of my favorite multiplayer games, Hawken. A mecha based arena shooter. Check them out, the game is still fun and they're figuring out how they can add more content from the console versions.

Is SWAT 4 considered forgotten in some way? You still can play it using Gameranger and it's an absolute masterpiece with friends.

Nothing beats 3 SWAT operatives yelling "POLICE, ON YOUR KNEES" while spraying some paintball pellets while the 4th one throws a stinger grenade by accident, stunning the rest. Good times!

I have crawled out from my rock and realized that N|e|x|o|n finally gave us an official avenue to play Mushroom game in a more classical state. If you enjoy Mushroom game check out Artale on msworlds. [my v key does not work on my laptop, so I am copying a pasting a blue one.]

I don't know if it counts as a full game since it's a mod but Zombie Panic! Source. I spent hours playing that in like 2007-2010. Logged on and you can still find the occasional person playing but have yet to really find a full functioning lobby. Kind of want to do a video on it.
