I've made this topic not to technically announce the release of a new romhack, but instead to showcase one that was already up for at least a year from now:
Lyn's Bizarre Adventure, a Fire Emblem 6 romhack that's fully completed and ready to both patch and play.
- FEUniverse Link (The original first topic of the hack)
- ROMhacking Link (One of the most famous re-uploads)
- SteamGridDB Link (Contains several user-made covers)
Basically speaking, its a hack that makes Lyn the new main character, while also changing basically everything from dialogue to textures to music etc. I personally found it impressive since it uses FE6 as a base, when for those who don't know, FE8 and sometimes FE7 is the most famous ones instead to be used as bases in hacking in that forum. So having a hack like this on FE6 that actually plays well from start to finish (FE6 is notoriously prone to bugs if you try to change anything on it) is worthy of pretty good praise or a curious look.
The real reason why I'm re-uploading it in here is if it could also be hosted on CDRomance.org if possible. Explaining fully: I'm not the creator of the hack, but from what I've seen, after SilverRoy (the actual author of the hack) made it, they stood around on FEUniverse for a few more months, then just straight up disappeared. I've researched the forum to confirm that other users who worked with them basically weren't notified, I made a throwaway alt on the forum sending a DM to SilverRoy but no response, and even lurking on their discord server I've saw the author's old posts, but nothing new after their disappearance from the internet. This leads me to believe that this hack could now be sort of considered Abandoned.
Even if it's Abandoned, it's also fully Complete however. I've finished a playthrough from start to finish no problem on Hard Mode (which btw is still hard as hell even with all of the quality of life changes made to help the player lmao). When you download the patch it will contain several readmes on them with full information of everything about the hack.
So that's pretty much everything that I wanted to showcase (and again, request if it could be also hosted on CDRomance.org). Enjoy and have a damn good one everyone.
