The language we know as "English" tends to have so many multiple variant words for things, you normally have lots of options to phrase or word something, lots of different shades of equivalent meanings and also redundant words that vary in tone. But the most stunning and annoying weakness of English is the lack of a single gender-neutral/inclusive word for "brothers and sisters" other than the weird stuffy word "siblings."
