It's one of the few games that squeezes the WonderSwan out of its trademark pseudo-3D perspective and has a decent frame rate for an 8-bit Bandai Handheld Racing game.

There's just something about putting "2000" at the end of game's title makes it sound futuristic.

In all fairness this one did release in 2000.
