Too much of a Ivalice fanboy but I can't remember any conversation with a FFXV NPC that really stuck out to me that wasn't related to a miniquest I had going at the time. Does FFXV have towns for me to walk through? Engage with the people on minor scale or just have more than what's in their town going on? That's what I'm really basing more of the purchase on because I know Star Ocean had that immersion though 1-3, and to me that's what sells an RPG a grand interwoven world that's beyond what the the player does.
