GBA Final Fantasy GBA Versions

I have an itch to play some rpgs on GBA and outside of Final Fantasy 1 and 4 I haven't finished any of the ones on this console.

Are this good enough versions to play for the first time or would it be better just to pick a different game?

Other than having crunchier sound and brighter graphics than the originals they're all perfectly playable.
Personally, I even kinda think the GBA version of 4 is the best looking version of that game.

The bonus content alone makes it worth playing every game; 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6.

Some graphical differences and sound quality issues may hinder the experience some, but most don't find it unplayable. Besides, the bonus content kicks so much ass.. it will make you see why so many fans complain about not getting the Advance extra content in any re-release.

Even if the GBA versions of FF have the low quality sound you can find hacks that fix that on [ redacted ]

I've played a bunch but the only ones I finished were IV and VI.

I recommend playing the psp I-IV since psp 4 has the after as well. Also V and VI on the gba has more content...but not anything super worth it. I still play the psx version once in a while.
