I'm playing it on GBA but I would like some advice, anything.

This is GBA version , I would like some advice :D

The redhead fighter is god tier. Red mage is good all around and black belt/monk is one of the strongest classes at the highest level. With those 3, you can choose anything as your 4th party member. I'd recommend the white mage, as healing is limited in the NES version. I believe it is less of an issue in the remakes, IIRC.

(Red mage looks cool but he's not that useful past midgame)

The game is pretty straightforward just remember the enemies in the last dungeon are harder than the final boss

This is GBA version , I would like some advice :D

Hmmm I played the PS1 version which is slightly worse gameplay wise than GBA but better in music/visually , I think its also when intelligence stat got fixed making spells far more useful , the strategist answer is wonderful , but just don't choose thief like just don't...get healing aka white mage you will need him.

Keep a good supply of potions , in case you don't know dying party member can be resurrected in the church for some money so try not to die , since there is no save points in dungeons
