I've been trying to play Sonic CD (JP version for the music) on my phone (Motorola G Pure), I've already tried to download the IOS version but that's too old to run on my phone. I've been trying to use RetroArch in order to play it, I think(?) I have the correct core installed for it (Image attached) but my most current issue is that the repo isn't working so I can't download the rom at all. Whenever I try to install it the download instantly fails and puts a junk file in the folder (0 kilobyte). It'd help a lot to just get some tips from someone whose used RetroArch, emulated Sonic CD (especially on mobile), or knows any easier ways to play Sega CD games.

I don't know how to edit the text properly but I have the rom now.

Have you explored the ClassicBoy Emulator? It’s a versatile multi-system emulator for Android that supports platforms like PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Game Boy, and more all in one app. (It supports Sega CD emulation as-well...)

If I can't figure out RetroArch I might try it, thanks!

I have the CHD file and the proper bios but whenever I open the file with Retroarch it opens a soundtrack player? I'm very lost...

On a real Sega CD I think if you press the wrong button on the first screen it will take you to a CD player menu instead of into the game. That might be whats happening?

I did a little more poking around with all the button options and it seems like it's working now, thanks!
