I haven't played it but I overlook it and also that fighting games before SF2 & MK1 were disappointing due to poor gameplay and a poorly polished input system that did nothing to benefit the gameplay. Although MD-GEN's Pit Fighter was the best version of the game, although playably it was slightly more polished than in the arcade, but that was all the good.

I used to rent this for my Genesis all the time when my mom took me to the library - Id get this and A godzilla movie lol -Honestly it was pretty fun not "great" but it was always on the shelf and I knew Id have some fun with my SNES owning friends.

Yeah... before SF2, there wasn´t a predominant template for fighting games. And this is a very solid and fun game. Simple and tricky at the same time.

I had this game when I was a kid, I always play it again to remind how fun it was. I used to play with Grinder mostly, as his kick move could knock three times when near a wall.

This is actually a very unique 1 on 1 fighting game, it doesn't play at all like Street Fighter, or Mortal Kombat, it relies mostly on bouncing the enemy against the wall and the ground to get the most damage, contrary to punching and kicking them, which are much less effective.

It's overall visual design isn't particularly well made, it looks almost goofy, but it's not bad at all, its gameplay can be quite satisfying.

I remember this game back then. I used to own a bootleg PSP (actually contains some of genesis/mega drive games), and this is one of them. Unexpected I actually found this one back.

This one is a little janky but actually fun.
Interestingly enough the names of the fighters and story change completely depending on the version played.

Kinda reminds me of Shaq-fu.

but this one is actually a good fighting game, i played this recently after like...... god knows how many years on my mega drive(damn I'm old) and it still really holds up well, definitely worth playing
