Anyway, it seems Kamui is being a prick about everything. At least we have new Corrins!

First up! Wompus the armor knight. Seal strength and Renewal is a pretty nice combo, and autolevelled he has a nice stat spread. I'm all for another high defense and strength unit, so he's a welcome addition to the team

Corrinort is also here! He's a red blooded axe fighter with a unique build: Tactical advice and dual guardsman make him an ideal pair-up unit, giving strength, speed, hitrate, and the uniquely powerful and powerfully unique parameter of boosted guard gauge gain.

Dude I'm not even gonna lie. I am so sick of doing like 2 damage to enemies I need this master seal so bad

And master seal he gets! While rev uniquely lets you choose between either of corrin's unique promotions, you were probably inclined to choose Nohr Noble anyway. while HN gives a nice strength stat and the ability to use (the weakest) staves, NN is a lot more suited to what corrin is good at and what the game asks for: Mixed attacking. Protagonist!Corrin having a workable magic stat pretty much no matter what (unless you're a -Mag bane guy for some reason) makes giving them the ability to get some mileage out of the levin sword and possibly get a head start on tome rank way way more valuable than like 1 extra strength

doesn't hurt that NN has a waaaaaay better level 5 skill while HN has pretty much all its value comprised in its level 15 skill... which isn't really even all that amazing

Well thats great and all but honestly.... I'm kind of in a shitty mood and I just sort of want to sleep in today. Sigh... I need a girlfriend or something... zzzz.....

I suppose yousef is excited to be back in the saddle, huh? these underlevelled enemies have nothing on her rock-hard defense. having an armor buddy with her doesn't hurt either

well, I do agree, she's not the best fighter, but you're not wrong about her stealing power from enemies. She's got a knack for picking up in strength in the back end of a fight. I don't know about darkness tainting her, though.

In time, all among us will seek power. To protect the originator, to protect one's existence, some simply allow their heart to be true. In this sense, darkness is the heart's true essence. Dominion over one's foes is not the path of the light, and such a path does not exist for vessels such as us.

Are you quite serious? Our existence is forged from the immutable truth of the originator's bond with this plane. While he may be as fallible as any man, Ser Kamui's gift of existance is one of choice. We live and battle as we see fit on our own.

Is such a thing really true? Are our lives our own? Are you or I beholden to our own paths, or are we enthralled to protect our originator beyond denial? What worlds out there, past this astral plane are we not privy to?

...Would you seek such a world, had you the ability to find out, Corrinort??

My heart, my proof of existance, is a borrowed thing. I do not intend to limit my world to that of this island forever... but for now, I simply intend to strike down the enemies before us.

I should probably mention this now because I uh, forgot earlier, but I gave all my statboosters from the snow map onto Kamui earlier. His stats were kind of shockingly below par for his averages and even though I was kind of saving these for an emergency he really needed them!

Frankly, we're doing them a service

I'm not even really getting any substantial xp from this

At least we can get some WEXP onto our new units, every bit counts!

Corrinort's gamble is a skill I stuck with for a little while. -10 hit sucks but given our propensity for crits i thought the +10 crit would have added up

Well... I'm seeking answers, about what to do, how to bring peace back to my family, and this land. I've felt for some time now that I've not really been able to contribute, and that I as the leader of our forces should be able to lead the charge better.

You led our forces through the naval blockade admirably, milord. Without your might and dragon power, many of us would have died.

That may be so, but it's humbling to have to rely on my dragon powers to help when everyone else can handle enemies readily.
