I wanted to mention a game that almost nobody remembers and doesn't usually appear in favorites lists.
Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing.

It's like a mini Hang-On for game boy color.

Not my “favorite” but I’ve loved Pocket Bomberman for a long time and I think it deserves more love.

The cover may lead you to think it’s an RPG, but in fact it’s a platforming puzzler with very similar gameplay and mechanics as Classic Bomberman, but with the perspective being side scrolling with vertical box playfields rather than isometric.

Plays on an original GameBoy too! It’s one of THOSE GBC games.
