Honestly, aside from Chrono Cross, it's probably Wild Arms 3. May seem like an odd choice, but it just has so many tracks I really love.

Oh my god, I can't believe I forgot to mention Chrono Cross
That game made me cry more times than probably any other, at least 12 times my first playthrough.
And it's mostly because the soundtrack just hits you in your most vulnerable moments.

That one seems to be a lot of people's favorite.. My ex loved that song.

Personally, for me it was this:

All those songs that seem to indicate hopelessness and despair are what stand out to me the most..

These two in particular are a couple of my favorite.

I love that apocalyptic, world-ending despair sound..

There's way too many to choose from and picking absolute favorites is always hard for me. Latest one that actually had a spot on my playlists was Void Stranger I think. I really like that sort of style anyway. Beeps, boops and chiptunes.

I really like Star Ocean OSTs in general. Crazy space jazz is pretty rad.

I do, however, have to dickride Expedition 33 a bit. It instantly became one of my favorite OSTs ever.

If we only count games with original songs, I pick Agarest: Generations of War (sick solos, you should give a listen to the battle themes)

If we count any game, I pick GTA Vice City Stories. Yeah, in my personal opinion the OST is better than Vice City. The radio actually feels like one, instead of the mish-mashed hit songs on VC.

In my opinion, nothing beats Lineage 2 OST. Not even close. I recommend listening to the whole video, but for those less patient, I picked a few parts:

I have a weakness for OST with vocals, so I'd say some of my favorite OST would be:
- Persona. Just absolute bangers.
- Nier Automata. Beautiful, mysterious and kinda melancholic.

- Katamari Damacy. Pretty chill, cheerful and quirky, just as the game.

- Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Just pure edgy badassery to pump you up for battle.

- Jet Set Radio. I mean. Is there anything to explain?

Halo 2, not my favorite Halo game but that OST is just amazing.

FF XIV also have some really good tracks, but many are just meh. Guilty Gear Xrd also have some amazing songs, if fact it was these songs the ones that made me get into GG.

Probably Pokemon Gen 5, although G4 and G3 are close behind. Everyone knows G5 has the best music in the series now, though.

This is one of the most iconic boss fight themes in any JRPG, on the level of One Winged Angel, and the wider gaming community completely ignored it for like five years.

It's a great murder mystery game with a super crazy and original world building at cool artistic design. I wasn't really sold into in when I first started playing, but by the end I loved the experience! Very recommended!
