What's your favorite piece in chess?
Personally, mine is whichever one is in the optimal position.

But if I really had to pick one, perhaps the bishop.

The queen because I'm Lighting and you're McQueen, KACHOW

The Knight. He's a horsey.

Knight is more fun, opens for more creative plays in my opinion. I prefer a more aggressive and tricky playstyle that focus on controlling because it's more fun, so i always try an opening that involves developing the knights quickly, usually if i'm whites i go for the king's knight opening and hope for a three knights game or a four knights game and then lose horribly regretting all my decisions

Queen for me, since I played DMC3, I know what a nuisance that bitch is!

I have to go with the knight. One, he's a horse so that's pretty cool and two it's also a very important piece game-wise since he has the most open movement other than the queen. Everyone think they're doing well until an enemy knight L jumps into their shit.

The forking potential of the knight can definitely make it an attractive piece!
I've admittingly had my fair share of rooks lost to them...

The knight, just because of its unorthodox movement pattern and ability to jump above other pieces.

But Pawn is the potential best because of the promotion and how you can use them as canon fodder to destroy more powerful pieces without regretting to lose a Rook or a Bishop.

Queen is powerful but when you lose her you've almost lost the game if you have 0 plan B.

I liked those animations

My fave is my second queen. The one you get from promoting a pawn, so that you can have two queens on the board at the same time.
