The U.S broadcast of Z features a completely different soundtrack to the original, going for a more synthetic approach:
And of course, the original Shunsuke Kikuchi provides the Japanese soundtrack. His instrumentation goes for a more samurai-like or classical feel in most tracks.
Personally, I really like seeing different interpretations of the same scene, and gives each version of the show its own feel.
