G’day, mates! Welcome to the Animal Lovers Resort – the most bonza spot to get up close and personal with our wild friends! I’m your lively Park Ranger, Retro Doomer, and right here with me is my fantastic helper, Hilde.
Now, let’s get to the good stuff – what’s your top two favourite animals? That’s right, you can pick up to two! And I wanna hear – what interesting facts do you know about these creatures? Plus, tell me – why do they hold a special place in your heart?
A quick heads-up: please keep your hands out of the Carnivore Areas – safety first, mates! We want everyone to have a ripper time without any accidents.
Remember, keep it safe, stay stoked, and have a fabulous time exploring all the amazing animals here at our resort! Cheers!

Awwwwww, my favourite animals are birds. There are tons of sweet ones, like ducks, doves or budgies, but I would say one favourite special bird which I find so cute and chubby: kakapos!

I believe they are only located in Australia, and I have never had the chance to see one in real life, but I would really want to :3

Awww, I also love rabbits, I had 2 males when I was living in another country, one black & big and the other white and small, and I always suspected the black one was gay because it was always hopping onto the white one and do the copulating dance while the white tried to escape all the time lol.

I also had birds: budgies, a lovebird, sparrows, doves and zebra finches.

My dream has always been to have a kakapo but that is absolutely forbidden as they are almost extinct and super protected.

But my realistic dream now is to have a crow. Before I visited Japan for the first time I never had the chance to see a crow in real life, and they are beautiful and smart. I love how they check on you, analyze things and interact with the environment, it's amazing. I would love to have one that is not too naughty and lets me pet and spoil it :3

All animals!

I think dogs have the most immediate effect on me in that I can't not smile when there's a dog around (you know, unless they're irritated or scared or the like and see me as a threat - I have in fact been chased by a pack of wild dogs while hiking once, not a fun experience) - though I love cats just as much! It's just that I'm allergic to them, tragically enough.

(Also, rabbit is the correct translation for Kaninchen, you're good. Bunny would also be an option. That term is generally more informal and usually used for smaller rabbits or baby rabbits.)

I've never seen one up close, but they always spoke to me in a quintessential kind of way.
Edit: bears, I mean.
This may sounds cheesy but they always reminded me of large Teddybears :).

The public perception of bears is strange, in a sense. Toys and plushies probably contribute to this skewed perception. While it's true real bears can look cuddly and they wouldn't attack unprovoked or without reason, the danger exists.

I've always liked bears too, to the point that when I have to beat Kuma I feel like shit....
I can understand the feeling.

Not my Favorite but Pigs are underated they are actually quite the Smart animals but many think they are dumb because they are Dirty.
A lot of animals have an undue reputation because of our tendency to project: we praise human qualities they apparently emulate and berate the human flaws they seemingly have, while in fact they are just acting according to their instincts and perceptions.

Giant isopods look out of this world, and they practically are. I recommend looking at a video where they handle one. Straight out of a scifi movie.

I also love jellyfish. These are moon jellyfish and are pretty popular as pets. But there are so many different species and they are all incredibly beautiful.

Oh, and I have a cat. She's cute too.
