i wish i could be excited for this but it's difficult. like @Bonkers225 said, this is the most direct display of SNK's new ownership I can imagine, and that's not something i personally enjoy being reminded of

is this really going to tip anyone into buying/seriously engaging with an SNK fighter in 2025?
are the people who will stick with this game competitively for the next few years going to get much out of being able to play as one of the Real World richest men in the world? it looks like a joke!

on the other hand, a footballer character is obviously a really cool idea. some of the stuff in the 2nd trailer looks fun. but then they could've made him an original SNK design! or, shit, get the captain tsubasa license!!
