Ever used the link cable?

I had three different kinds for trading pokemon way, way back in the day. I wish I still had them. GC in particular.
I remember now! One for DMG-to-DMG, one for GBC/GBA-to-GBC/GBA, and one for GC-to-GBA? That was my hard-earned Pokemon setup long ago.

I used it to play tetris, Mario and Yoshi, and the 4 link thingy to play F1 race with 3 friends.

I wonder if these guys are still enjoying video games.

Those kinds, yes.

I only ever did Tetris on the OG gameboy. Everyone around me shared games, so it was the only game that we had duplicates of.

i had a link cable. used it only for pokemon trading. got kind of boring. the mystery gift feature was kind of cool the one time that i used it.

My cousin and I used to play Tetris together with the GB link cable, and when Pokemon came out I did have a group of friends that would trade Pokemon, but haven't used it since high school 20+ years ago.

The first time I used one I borrowed one from a classmate back in like 2001 so I could trade my Pokémon between versions. I eventually got one of my own during the GBA era for the exact same purpose.

Never had or used a link cable
Until…
This Christmas I received a Gameboy printer! It’s been so fun, GB camera is awful. :- ) Also a very very spooky game

My brother and I grew up playing pokemon so we traded often.

Yes, to connect Pokémon Colosseum with Sapphire and Emerald, thanks to that game I could trade many first and second generation Pokémon.

Only with that game

Yes. Tried to transfer Red/Blue Pokemon from a GBC to a GBA using an Advance link cable. Needless to say, it didn't work.

Me and my sister both had Game Boys. The day we got a link cable was one of the best days ever. And once we moved up to GBA it was awesome because basically every game had some sort of multiplayer modes, and oftentimes you only needed a single game pak to play.

Yes, I have used the link cable. I have used the link cable to trade pokemon. I have also used the link cable to play The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords with my brother and his friend.

I played Game Boy Mortal Kombat II with the link cable, but by the time Pokemon got popular around 1997 I was more interested in Final Fantasy VII and Quake and Diablo
