Enthusiasm that ended in just time wasting games.

I’m going to guess that either no one has heard of this game or they’ve completely forgotten about it. It was cool for a short while back in 1993 but this game did not age well at all. It’s a terrible turd of a game.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
I'm a big fan of Dark Souls but Sekiro just would not click for me. I'm not saying I think its a bad game I just couldnt get the hang of it for some reason
i've heard of this game being called a rhythm game by some people who played it. maybe that's why you didn't particularly like it.

it was a waste of time because i didnt quit it and instead played through it all the whole day. dont listen to the shills this game is a meme

Vanilla Ninja Gaiden 3. Spent an entire afternoon gaslighting myself into trying to believe it wasn't the way it was. At least Razor's Edge means I never have to involuntarily think of it anymore.
Vanilla Ninja Gaiden 3 is I think one of the worst major studio, AAA games ever and I'm not even exaggerating.

I really wish I could like Tunic.

The runic language was so ignorable that I wish I was forced to engage with it more.
The combat doesn't go beyond its influences. The hidden items feeling too similarly found.
It just felt so shallow compared to the praise Ive heard of it before playing.

Its not even a souls game at all.
It goes back to fromsofts older catalogue of games.

For me, it's Kingdom Hearts 3. Waited 12 years only to be let down tremendously ?

TBH, the KH series hasn't been the same for me since BBS came out. There was something magical about those first three games (KH, CoM [GBA], KH2). Having to watch the data org and lingering will fights on Youtube cause Final Mix wasn't released in the west for the longest time is such a nostalgic memory for me. I remember opening up my slim PS2 and taping over the lid sensors so I could use SwapMagic to play KH2FM on my US PS2 xD

Same. When I started playing I was enjoying it, but then shortly after I found myself just wanting to play something else.
