What type of frontend you use for your Roms.

EmulationStation or Steam Roms Manager

I used EmuStation since the start but the Linux O-S/interface puts me off immensily. I got all meh stuff setup emulation-wise but am sick of how Linux is on that relatively-smaLL screen - even with a good stylus.

never heard of Steam Room Manager. I may give that a go?

Is this about a Steam Deck, specifically?
No it's PC Handheld in General

by the way Emudeck is available for Windows.

I actually mean Steam Roms Manager

Ah, well of the two it depends on the size of your collection, I think. Adding thousands of roms to Steam *can* be organized, but I'd sooner sift through them on Emudeck. I might be biased though, I don't actually like using Steam as a hub for my games in general.

(Actually for PC I usually use Playnite or Launchbox).

Ordinarily I wouldn't recommend Launchbox because the most interesting bits require payment, buuuut someone darling got me a license for my birthday some years back and I've been happy to make use of it.

I can pirate wutever I want, but I more often than not use it as a preview before buying

I will never give $ to the Magic Engine turbografx fuckhead, but I have paid for a PPSSPP gold license
