Easiest and hardest crash bandicoot game? (in your opinion)

To be fair I've only beaten Crash 1 100%. Felt like the right amount of challenge, to my own tastes at least.

I'd say 1 is the hardest of the trilogy in my experience

3 felt easier except for the bike levels, and I've actually never beat 2 at all.

From my own experience. at least with the OG trilogy. (Havn't played Wrath or the Vicarious Visions games enough to compare)

1 is hardest to 100%
2 is the easiest to 100%
3 probably has the easiest base game levels, but the times trials take it a notch above 2 IMO, especially if you're going for platinums.

So easiest to hardest of the OG trilogy 2>3>1

CTR is probably legit harder than all 3, but I love racing games, so it's not too bad.

4 is undoubtedly the hardest Crash game, tho.

For me, the easiest would have to be Crash 2 Cortex Strikes Back, there are a few annoying spots here and there like the secret level locations but it's still fine enough. The hardest to me would be Crash 4 It's About Time, this game's completion is so annoying to the point it legit makes the game worse to me.

Maybe that's harsh to some but IMO when it comes to classic Crash, the 100% completion is part of the experience. So when trying to fully complete the game is way more tedious compared to literally every other game, I can't help but see it as a weaker game despite the levels themselves being fun.

Yes Crash 1 is the worst haha, Warped easiest without the completion.

Crash Team Racing is the best kart racer ever for me. I never could find other that feels like it.

Crash Wrath of Cortex it was so-so I think.
Twinsanity I began to play it, but it didn't click much with me and abandoned it.
The others I did not play them.

I haven't played every single one of them but I have been revisiting the old ganes, first off I suck at car driving simulators so technically the kart racing ones are probably the hardest fir me, that's said, level design wise I always felt Crash 1 was the hardest of the original titles, though in the N'Sane Trilogy they made so many quality of life changes to all three games but in particular the first and made it a lot easier, I mean you had to earn the ability to save your progress in the original, the PS1 era was weird with the saving functionality.

I have had trouble with all PS1 entries, to be honest.

Lisa Simpson made it look really easy, but nope (and my friend, a Crash fangirl like none other, also couldn't believe that I wasn't worshipping the discs XD).

Wrath wasn't that difficult overall but it had it's moments, or I'm misremembering.

I've found that the community generally refers to Wrath of Cortex as just 'Wrath' and 4: It's About Time' as well... '4'.

Normal playthrough:
Easiest: 3, assuming you don't mind the vehicle stages, the fact that crsh gets powerups makes pacing fairer, heck, you get a BAZOOKA as your last powerup and the final fight is so easy i could win with a Hasbro joystick
Hardest: 1, i would write a entire Retorspective Article about the game's poor aging, but if you hate a mechanic of that one, then that's an argument

100%:
Easiest: 2, the hidden gems can be picked from the get go instead of being made to get Time Trials (AKA play the same stage twice) and the hardest skull route is still mild compared to the easiest ones from Warped (Or even some regular ones from Crash 1)
Hardest: Once again, 1, not even N.Sane Trilogy makes it easier, true, boxes works like in 2 Onwards, but the Color Gems (AKA THE ONES YOU TRULY DON'T WANT TO MISS MERELY BECAUSE YOU DIED) they brought it back, even giving a special message if you get all boxes but died as a last fuck you

Twinsanity is the easiest, Crash 4 is the hardest.

Dishonorable Mention goes to Wrath of Cortex, those monkeybars can kick rocks. Game is good though.

Crash Bash is easily the hardest to 100% because the AI straight up cheats on the platinum relics, Crash 4 too is really hard to complete, but for different reasons...
