A port that I’m actually somewhat shocked hasn’t happened until now, YES! You can play the original Wipeout at smooth 60 fps on SEGA’s final console. It’s actually somewhat uncanny to see it running so smooth and looking so good! Truly a great release from the SEGA homebrew scene.

I'd like to see new games that really take advantage of the Dreamcast's capabilities instead of random ports of older games or 2D shmups.

Sadly, that requires a larger dev team or MANY years of independent development. I’d love it too, trust me. But even getting a basic 3D game is a rarity in the scene. Remember, this is mostly for little profit, so larger projects have less incentive to be made.

The best hope we would have is for a game to be built by a team FROM THE GROUND UP FOR DREAMCAST but it drops on Steam the same day to get a profit incentive. Even then, it would be tough to have the Steam release not harm the DC version of the hypothetical game.

hear me

Xenosaga 3 Dreamcast port

only if gets decompiled or its source code gets leaked from Namco HQ

Is this a port or a Bleem deal?
Either way, it's badass.

Nope. Full on port!
Has resolution scaling to take advantage of the Dreamcast’s added beef!

Maybe I should dust my DC off and burn some games, I love wipeout and didn't know that people were porting games over.

And, of course, good ol' Bleem still exists. Back in 1999, ports of GT2, MGS, and others made it to Dreamcast and they ran better than their PS1 versions.

My mind is blown!
This is way too awesome
