i used to know how to do it but i forgot about everything, basically what i wanna do is downloading ps3 games on my hacked console and play them like if its official and get trophies from the games, i have few "stores" in my hacked ps3 but they dont have all the games, is there one with all the games?, or at least if i need to download them indivsually is there a type of file i need to look for ?

Damn I think I'm not sure but if you wanna download individually you gotta install with pkg files, for the stores i had the same problem and never really relied on them that much, i hacked my ps3 a long time ago and downloaded a 5 tb worth of games i need on it so i forgot too sorry :P

Not sure if it can be of any help (I would have liked to mod a ps3 but after reading the guide it seems to me very difficult if compared to vita); so I tried the ps3 emu on pc for a couple of games -with bad results, probably my pc isn't powerful enough- and the few games I tried came from here:

ht tps:/ /myr ient.er ista.me/files/Redump/

Delete the space between words, I'm not sure if links are allowed! Also, not sure if they can be used on ps3, so maybe my suggestion is useless :D

After all this, I got a cheap xbox360 and played FF13 there :) Now I'm waiting for "Eternal Sonata" to come in the mail, and "Journey" (the other game I wanted to play on ps3) I got it on Steam for less €5...

Basically what I did was connect it physically to PC with an Ethernet cable, and use the PS3 like an FTP server, then upload entire game folders on HDD using FileZilla, an FTP client.

It was pain to configure but only needed to be done once, then you just log in and move files there.

Updates and PSN games that needed installation, you copy over pkgs and then install them directly on console... alternatively, for those you can use a USB flash drive.

All that needs custom firmware, unless your console is already flashed correctly.

P.S. A lot of games that were console exclusive have PC ports now, look up if something is ported, i.e. most Final Fantasy and KOEI games are on Steam, and PC versions often have fan patches and always much lesser system requirements than emulating a PS3 or XBox.

There are tons of guides out there, and I am not the best to explain it, since I did most of the stuff way back, just look up "PS3 Ftp" or "Filezilla PS3" on YouTube or Google.

BTW, you can also emulate PS1, PS2 and PSP games on PS3 by putting them into PSXISO/PSPISO/PS2ISO folders, that works even from flash drive.

Also for FF13, it's on sale 60% off on Steam right now, as are most Square games, unless you want X360/PS3 achievements instead of Steam ones. Can also pirate it on PC but that will not have achievs. It's really what's more convenient for you, I played stuff on console because the couch is more comfortable until I set up Steam Big picture.

Starting with FF7, all PC versions of FF games have updated Steam versions with achievements, most with built-in cheats for no-encounters or speed-up and modding support. You can connect an XBox or PlayStation joystick to PC too and they all support controllers tho getting PS3 gamepads to run on PC is a bit fiddly (others should work out of the box).

See what you'll find easier, getting a gamepad to work on PC, or learning to upload games onto PS3. Both things are good! XD

i dont have a problem playing any game cracked but the thing is i have my ps3 and older devices to play games with cheevos and getting those achivments, for example im trying to get drakengard 3 and other jrpgs that were exclusive for the 3, im a completionist and enjoy 100%, i just got stuck recently when i tried to play some of the games i didnt have physically with me

No hack with the xbox, I found a cheap one for 30 euros and I bought FF13 and Eternal Sonata physical (found them at low price online); when I read the hack guide it was the same as ps3, too much work and overwhelming difficulty for me, and at the moment those games are the only ones I really wished to finally play. With more or less 60 euros I got a console and two games :) Nowadays 60 euros are almost not enough for a single game!

Also, I tried Ff13 on pc when I saw it on sale on Steam (5 euro more or less), but despite having all the suggested requirements the game has not started, so I got a refund and that's when I decided to buy the xbox.

if u wanna download games on your ps3 without returning to your pc for the ps3 isos, i recommend getting pkgi app since your ps3 is jailbroken, most of the games are on there but you do need a psn account to play or something to bypass the requirement for it after installation.

there is a repo somewhere (not vimslair its kinda unreliable ngl) that houses alot of ps3 games that arent on pkgi, its called gutamps and you can get the link to their site by searching their yt channel.

and as the others have said, ftp if you're transferring numerous pkg files onto your ps3.

The method I prefer varies.

For the longest time I used this website but recently ISOs arent encrypted and you have to manually decrypt/encrypt (I forget which) each iso, which is another process but not very complicated. I use this method if DLC is only available for ISO versions of games.

Now I use Nopaystation via NPSBrowser, which is strictly digital pkgs and some DLC is not available for digital versions of games. (I'm still trying to find DLC for Resident Evil Revelations but no such exists for NPUB30991)
I've also recently tried pkgi which, if I compare it to NPSBrowser, is just NPSBrowser but for the actual PS3 but I can't seem to select or filter to DLC, rather its just pkgs regardless of what I filter out.

What bothers me is that pkgi actually downloads pkgs to the harddrive, which takes up twice as much space for the pkg itself and the actual game, as opposed to installing pkgs from external drives/usbs. For pkgs larger than 4GB, I use Irisman, which is able to read and detect NTFS formatted usbs/external drives. Make sure your thumbdrive is already inserted into 000usb, choose the mount option right at the bottom and wait, find and highlight the pkg thats larger than 4GB, triangle to open the context menu and choose "mount and exit to XMB", from there you can install those 4GB+ pkgs as you regularly would via package manager.

Yup, that's exactly my point, cracked version on PC will not have achievements at all, BUT either console or Steam versions would. I like cheevos too, so I am playing old games through Retroarch, but for PC stuff, you are kind of tied to a store, one good thing, Ubisoft and Epic give tons of stuff for free and you can redeem Ubi points too.

I own most of Assassin's Creeds before Origins without buying, Far Cry 3 and Tomb Raider 2013 were also free to redeem.

Another thing with convenience, apart from bundles, freebies and sales, it's possible to get some game on a big Steam sale then pirate the DLC, and CreamAPI works for most things... that's how I got non-GOTY versions of Fallout 3 & NV, Civ 6 and Rome 2 Total War, but got DLC for nothing. Yeah, I have achievs for DLC I pirated.

Chezlyn's comment above links to the site I used myself for almost all of my PS3 games, highly recommended! So use FTP for foldered games and USB for pkgs... ISOs can go wherever. And you can absolutely still get trophies on pirated PS3 games, you'd need to get it online to sync them though, but it can be cone like, once.

I even installed someone's legit bought DLC on my pirated SvR 2009, it was delisted everywhere except from Aussie store. Dx So you can mix and match and add a bunch of games you don't have discs of onto your PS3's hard drive.
