Hey so, I'm wondering if doshin the giant n64 is playable from start to finish like the gamecube version. Anytime I played it after 1 in game day it sends me back to the beginning. Am i doing something wrong?

Hey,
i experienced the issue a while ago as well. Since the original game has a function to save in game, i was only able to fix it with using the savestate functions of the emulator just

It's not that I quit out after 1 in game day, it's like after I finish the 1st day it somehow resets to the beginning? I have also used save states for this game.

oh now i see. That is depending on the fact that the game used an internal clock in the original console. In case you use Ares as emulator, here is a guide how to set it up

Oooh okay this makes so much more sense then. I'll try a different emulator that supports internal clock. Thank you so much :)

let me know if you get it to work then. Which emulator (under which os) did you use before? Would love to have a look into replicating the issue

I'm using muphen on android tv. I know it doesn't sound like the best choice, but so far everything I'm playing has been good. Completed a few zelda rom hacks too.
