I recently got back to alternating between games too, I set two or three games I alternate between them - games I never played before. I progress on one, move onto another, so on and so forth; you're forcing your brain to adapt and find your limits; find a happy middle doesn't bore you and doesn't overly frustrate you, then you slowly push that boundary more and more. It's something we need to do, otherwise we'll struggle more if some of us are genetically predisposed to things like early mental decline or Alzheimer.
