I'm a huge fan of Tezuka! I adore his works, especially the ones from the 1940s to 1950s such as Lost World, Metropolis, and Nextworld. Despite his simple line art and cutesy art style from that era, he managed to draw feature length sci-fi stories with complex and cinematic scenes with it. One of his manga that I really love would be Fossil Island, which is an omnibus of multiple stories, each with a different genre. The whole experience that I felt when reading that manga was just magical, it feels like reading bedtime fairytales. The scene featuring the Indians standing atop a cliff while the page transitions to a different story left a huge impression on me.
