I really like how they did a spin on the OYW and Dozle's dream coming to fruition lol. After seeing a screening of it, I was a bit worried that it will follow the same footsteps as Witch from Mercury plot wise. There was soo much potential with the show but man did it really fall flat in the later episodes.

I haven't seen much of this in terms of trailers but i quite like the designs of the new gundam. I've only watched a few series outside the U.C. like IBO, Witch, G Gundam and the rest I got familiar with via a lot of SRW games.

I mostly stick with U.C.

I'd love to see the preview but there are 0 screenings of the movie where I live, I'm forced to wait until the tv series is airing so I can "legally watch it".
theory: what if Machu is actually Haman Karn? they do share the same birthday and are about the same age given the time the show is set in.

To be more on point, I haven't really seen anything of it yet. I am wary of them reaching back into the beloved comfort zone to remix, rather than pushing ahead with more new material like Witch from Mercury though.

Props to the mechanical design of 0083, all the gundam-type suits look amazing, especially the GP02 and Dendrobium.

I like it already going in blind as a further expansion and celebration of the gundam franchise. I liked Witch from Mercury. I have never been a UC elitist. You can be as UC Elite as you want, but a lot of you seem to forget that there was a long time where a lot of UC was established and the franchise was on tough times financially and not sweaty uc elitists, but women kept the franchise afloat during those time. So when you see another girlboss gundam story its not because its a sign of the times its a gift to those that kept Gundam afloat during the bad times.

They said it's alternate U.C. timeline, yeah I'm pretty surprised Char is not Ikeda Shuicihi this time, then again he hasn't do much voice work this past few years, hopefully it's not health issue.

Just curious about it's continuity is all. Still intrigued about the show. The Movie is prologue it seems an the series follows kinda like what they did with Witch from Mercury.????

Just curious did you see the movie they recently made of the episode Cucuruz Doan's Island from the original gundam and how did you feel about it? I liked various gundam properties, but for instance I do not really like any SD Gundam properties, but I know that people do and I wouldn't deprive them of what they like in hopes I could get something like that movie I mentioned eventually and they usually do give us good stuff from time to time even if they release a few personal duds. Thunderbolt anime was also recent and enjoyable. I am hopeful more of the AC timeline will get animated at some point, but I may die if I hold my breath.

I didn't, the last Gundam series I paid any attention to was Build Fighters. (Which by now must be like a million years old, but was quite enjoyable at the time.) I prefer the spinoff series to the mainline stuff by a very, very significant margin.

I wouldn't, either. I guess if this teenage girl yuri stuff is what Gundam is now, and it's still popular, then that's A-OK with me! I just wish that they would go with an art style that didn't make every character look like pudgy, round-headed fan characters, but that's what all anime looks like now, so.
