I don't know how many of ya'll are subscribed to DidYouKnowGaming, but they just the other day released a great documentary on the inspiring life of one of not only Nintendo but gaming as a whole's greatest but most humble faces.

Dude this guy made Nintendo the Nintendo as we know it. Without him console wars wouldn't be fun at all. As SEGA fan bois we wouldn't have anything to make fun of lolol. He is the only enemy I respect in the console war. Without him Nintendo became a disgrace, even I'm ashamed lol.

I watched, damn it was really good. I love video games, but learning about the history of them and the people who made them into reality is so much better. You would be amazed how a person can truly change the world.

Mr. Yokoi is a true legend, by far one of the most important figures not only in the history of Nintendo, but also in the history of the gaming industry, This is the man who helped Nintendo go from a little hanafuda card company to the gaming juggernaut it is today, It's heartbreaking to see that people don't talk about Yokoi's legacy as much as, let's say, Miyamoto, Iwata, Reggie or Sakurai.

I knew him by name only, like one of those names its always gets tossed around on video game history but never gave it much thought.

Seeing his philosophy, it really sheds a light on Nintendo's own philosophy.
