I only played the Ace Attorney games and Ghost Trick
 
I'm not sure if they count, but I hear good things about 'Hotel Dusk' and 'Trace Memory'
Also, I'm a huge fan of Professor Layton if you count those, so I'd definitely recommend them if you feel they fit what you're looking for.
 
Yeah the recommendations I'd make have already been mentioned 999 (though the DS version is inferior to other versions), Hotel Dusk and its sequel, Last Window. Time Hollow also comes to mind.
 
I liked Flower Sun and Rain but it's a really divisive game so play it at your own risk (And it also requires you to play The Silver Case beforehand)
 
if you want to date boys i hear Vampire Knight for the ds is pretty good. there's a fan translation for it you'd need to track down though
