I think I prefer DC tbh. Raimi’s Spider-man 2 might be my favorite super hero movie but DC just has too many bangers.
The Suicide Squad
The Dark Knight
Superman

Then ofc the animated ones like Under the Redhood.

Logan kicks ass tho too on Marvel’s side.

My issue with Marvel is they don’t know when to put the quips and jokes in. It will be during tense moments or sentimental moments.

I think Marvel has the better Heroes to pull from but DC definitely has the superior rogues gallery imo atleast.

Tv is DC as well imo

Daredevil is awesome but

CW shows and Peacemaker give DC more coverage
Also isn’t Sandman technically DC (s1 of that show is amazing but s2 is still good from what I’ve watched just a let down so far)?
I think the CW shows get a bad reputation. Their budgets sucked ass but they have slot of heart. I liked Star Girl and The Flash

DC obviously has better animated shows even if marvel does have x-men and 90s spider-man

I prefer Troma Entertainment and their superhero movies instead!!! Especially the first Toxic Avenger movie is my all-time favourite superhero movie ever!!!! lolol

I like both DC and Marvel. Both have a lot to see and are cool.

I've always preferred DC, even though I also grew up with the famous Spider-Man comics. The approach and character design are more realistic and darker. Batman is a billionaire with no superpowers who relies on the advanced technology at his disposal, using his status to his advantage.

As for Marvel, I've always felt like I was watching a comedy or a parody of superheroes. The characters traits are often more exaggerated, while DC tackles more mature themes. Also, the Joker is the best villain ever created.

Marvel, regardless of what most people say these days and regardless of Disney being a demonic/money hungry company, but I admit that DC is superior in terms of "animation"

When I clicked on this post my thoughts were decidedly "I don't even like the Marvel films, but Marvel" however, you're right, there are some astounding DC films out there that Marvel has just never even come close to.

I think it goes a little like this though (and keep in mind I'm not really talking about the TV shows):

DC has significantly higher highs, but they also suffer from drastically lower lows.

A marvel film might be brain-deactivatingly bland, but they're usually pretty tightly crafted. DC on the other hand - man, sometimes they just sink millions into a film and the end result just isn't even watchable. Marvel's direction might be spiceless as can be, but at least someone there has an idea of what they wanna do with the brand - they aren't just randomly picking up and dropping projects based on some random executive's every whim and they aren't backtracking every other film. Like the Snyder period for DC films - jesus christ, whether you like the films or not, Snyder is an ametuerish director and yet they were THE main visionary for DCs entire cinematic universe for years - like how does that even happen? And worse, after all that garbage, they basically just turned around and said "yeah, none of that mattered". Or how about Suicide Squad: THE Suicide Squad might be a decent, popcorny flick... but you already made a Suicide Squad film and you can't just redact that and pretend it never existed.

DC has some real bangers that Marvel is far too clean to ever make, but Warner have too much money, and these characters are too important to so many people for them to be taking such a blasé and half-arsed buckshot approach to so many of their projects. So my answer is still the same, Marvel beats out DC, but I do wanna caveat that it's really just about consitency because at their best, Marvel makes decent sueprhero movies and DC make genuine Cinema.

DC comics or (Detective Comics comics, I just like saying that) as much as I like the universe it was always like shopping at a Wall Mart instead of Macy's or Lord and Taylor. The content wasnt by any means bad, it just always seemed second rate to Marvel. Then Disney bought marvel and systematically destroyed it, think movies like Mobious and Madam Web. ::puke
