Do you play one game at a time, or multiple at once?

It depends entirely on the game, when one game entertains me enough I can play only that one until I finish it, otherwise I can be playing between 2 or 3.

for me it is one game at a time
i like to play rpgs that can be sometimes dozens of hours long - playing more than one of those kinds of games at once is asking for not only your attention but your time to now be split
at most i will play two games at once if they are in strongly different genres, such as a longform rpg and a short happy skiptime platformer, that is what i tend to do

see im the type that gets overwhelmed with little work, so this may not be a correct statement but i believe having one game at a time is better. this could also be because the games i play are more story oriented and i like picking tiny details in the fiction. when i have multiple games at hand i forget what i was gonna do and where i left the story, causing the experience in my memory to be with holes in it. that just throws the entire game into trash, and i dont have fun playing it without remembering anything

My opinion depends on the genre of the games you currently play...
If it is a RPG or a long adventure with an elaborated plot, I think that it's better to focus in just one game, but not spend too many hours per day on it in order to get a better feel of the progression and comprehension of the story, just as if it was a TV serie divided into chapters.
But since I'm not a fan of the RPGs genre and I prefer much more the Arcade style gaming, I usually tend to have 4 or 5 games to switch between them depending on the amount of free time that I have at the moment.

Depends, we have to remember that this is a hobbie and it can get stagnant if you "force" yourself to concentrate in a single game out of a feeling of obligation, it takes the enjoyment away so playing other stuff on the side is good, the main objective of gaming for me is to have fun.

On the other hand I've been trying to finish FFVII for like a year and I'm not even halfway thanks to my slugish pase and getting distracted with other games so uhhh, yeah

I disagree. The problem is distraction and convincing oneself they don't have the time. "Forcing" one to play is merely a suggestion you pick up the controller and start playing, ignore distractions, just start playing for 30 minutes. Watch as is it turns into an hour, two hours and watch how much more you've enjoyed your time when you remove the dull noise of youtube videos and doom scrolling.

It's a reaction to the state of living, and it does work.
