Do you collect anything, if so, what is it?

I've been collecting things pretty much my whole life. Throughout those years I've had cards and games come and go, whole collections being traded to friends of the past, so on and so forth.
In my more recent years my collections are more humble in size but they range from rocks, feathers, fossils, bottle caps, and old coins. I still do collect cards on occasion. I really enjoy the art for Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and MtG cards.

What kinds of things do you treasure?

My most niche hobby that I haven’t done in a while was collect bank notes as memoirs from my travels. I sometimes collect stamps as well.

However nowadays I am way more into controller collecting. My latest purchase was the Wii U pro controller. Can’t wait to use it for my steam deck!

I would love to start collecting Digimon or dragon ball cards. Yugioh is also an option.

Oh hey I collected a lot of ticket stubs too hahaha

I loved the few late 90's/early 2000s Digimon and DBZ cards, I really wish I still had them.

Lots of things, actually.

Coins, ticket stubs, bottle caps, old radios and electronics, vintage soda cans, cassette tapes, vynil records, CDs...
A fellow loot enjoyer, we are of the same family friend.

uhhh, retro games.

I know I'm real original in that.

I own two copies of Last Raven, because the second copy was cheap AF and I just had to deny a scalper for that price.

Used to collect SNES games when I was younger. Nowadays it's SNES and PS2 roms. Nothing exciting but I just love the idea of having those old classics at my fingertips.

Oh likewise, sometimes I just scroll through my PCSX2 screen to look at the cover arts of games I've amassed, haha.

I forgot to mention my --humble-- gaming collection, mostly made of heavily damaged NES, SNES and Genesis games. I like them better that way... they tell a story.

Better than them crumbling in the depths of the trash heap. Plus cartridges are so appealing, one of my favorite GBC cartridges is Mario Golf.

Here's a couple of my favorite cards that I kept in my modest collection are selling some and giving some out to my nephews.

Old consoles (I have a N64, a Gamecube, a PS2 slim, a 360, a DSI xl, a 3DS. And I want to add a PS3 to the mix) I also collect Videogames Achivements. here some games that I completed so far

I also had Persona 3 reload on that list but the dlc achivements took it away

I was collecting vinyls at one point but I stopped at around 50. Not enough space and it's a waste of money; They'll look cool in my living room one day. I don't collect manga but I have a nice collection at the moment, from current titles to old ones.

This is the latest addition to my loot:

The "Spica" is a heavily sought-after radio that was immensely popular decades ago.

I've been reading books and comics since I was 6 years old, since my father bought me Topolino comics and together we collected toys - Donald Duck's house and Paperinik's secret base, Uncle Scrooge's warehouse, 313 and so on.

At 11 years old, I started my book collection which today amounts to over 200 volumes of books and comics: in my school there was a fiction class, we had to read a book at home and in class and review it following a classic scheme. I took the opportunity to take those books that otherwise would have remained to rot forever in the classroom locker, since no one read them anyway. Furthermore, the stationery shop near my school gave me some used or wet ones, believing they were giving me rubbish, and instead the only one who enjoyed them was always me. And now, well, you can say that soon I'm on the verge of building a "casa de papel" *ba dum pssst*

I'm glad to see books here. Best thing about them is that all you need is eyes and time to enjoy them. Keep collecting! I have around 100 books myself. And I do have many, many left unread on my shelf but I almost always thrift for them. So 50 cents here or a dollar there for hours of potential enjoyment is never a hard sell.
