You give two options like this:
PSX or Saturn

The next person to reply has to answer, with an optional reasoning, to continue the example:
PSX, because Ridge Racer runs better.

Then that person also has to give two new things to choose between, and the cycle continues:
NES or SG-1000

And with all of that out of the way, here's the first choice,
