For the past decade I've found, followed and purchased the lion's share of my digital gaming collection after first noticing them on 'Free' sites.
I check Steam's front page every morning too but there are so many indie titles released weekly that boatloads are washed way way waaaay down Steam's New Release list.

A good Seventy percent of those games I would still not know existed.

Does anyone know of any good sites that offer front page to every PC / Console release?

For PC games? Just google em. I don't want to steal indies though. Those are usually dirt cheap and the people who made them put all their heart n soul into em. :) As for AAA PC games, go ahead and pirate them and don't feel sorry about it! lol

Most of the time I find cool new indie games on dedicated showcases, like during Summer Game Fest, Gamescom etc. and put them on my wishlist. People act like indie showcases are trash but they are really missing out on a lot of good stuff. Also sometimes they find me instead, through some content creators I watch or just randomly on the internet. Also-also, Steam Next Fest is a good way to discover interesting and/or niche games and try their demos.

Releases.com is a good website if you just wanna know what's new, it has most of the games while it doesn't pick every game, to the point where it would be full of shovelware

i agree its not worth pirating indie "games", when i can just play literally any older retro game for free, instead of either a boring yap session or a game that tries way to hard to copy older games or worst being another souls wannabe. ::beer

there's rare exceptions. The Big Catch is one
