Hi there,

I've checked both boxes to remove styles from other's posts and postbits in the preferences, but today I found a few posts in color. I dont know if they use CSS or special BBCode but it seems to bypass the preference settings. Is there something in the preferences I missed?

Here's a pic to illustrate. I use dark reader but setting it off doesn't change much. It's a bit annoying to read... I can always skip it but I would like to have everything in the same white ideally. Is it possible?

Don’t worry. I can edit out the post. Thanks for letting us know.
Edit: taken care of.
I think that user just wrote their entire post on a red font right from the post editor. Unfortunately, that can't be disabled :(

Too bad, that would be my first user blocked then I guess.

May I ask why it cant be disabled?

The color of text is set in the post itself, not using the user style.
(Like when we are making a part of the text bold or doing something similar)

This is not a recommended practice, as manually selected colors, usually won't look good on BOTH light theme and dark theme of site.

If you encounter such cases, you can temporarily switch the site's theme to see it better.

How can I do that? Is it worth it if it's just one user, will I end up switching themes all the time?

I'm looking on my side for some plugin to normalize all CSS in here and minimize eyestrain. Maybe with GreaseMonkey. Do you know of some?

Having used other xenforo based forums, it's not worth switching themes over. Some people just like to be quirky with their posts.I recommend just skipping past unreadable posts.

It's actually quite rare for such a thing to happen.

Anyway, changing the theme is pretty easy, and can be done on-the-fly.
Just go to bottom of the page, and click on the following icon:

You can switch it at any time you want.
