Sparking Zero is very recent, and unless you're a super fan, I'd wait for them to add even more content (game already has a season planned) The PSP games are all good, even though it's mostly "portings" of the PS2 games (Shin Budokai has better gameplay though) I sincerely discourage playing anything on PS1 or before that. They used to make these kind of games with way, WAY cheaper budgets. Playstation 2 is the point in time where this series of tie-in games actually started becoming an "important" videogame franchise.
