This gen was one of my favorites back in the day, it had an innovative mechanic for the time which is common place in some RPGs. Your choices in game changed the story, and made a branch universe, which resulted in things playing out differently.

The idea was to replay the game many times to get the true ending and

When i first picked this up, i thought it looked like a Xenogears type game in terms of design, but on the Saturn which got me hyped, i did not regret the purchase, but this has a lot of jank related to positioning to make a jump, this was much less refined compared to Xenogears. but still a good game in it's own right.

Have you played this? Whats your opinion of the game?

The boxart ugly as shit but the in game graphics aren't bad looking. Might try this

I agree with you, early 3d at its... finest, i guess...Definitely a don't judge a book by it's cover situation.

But 100% give it a go, a hidden gen not enough people are talking about imho.

It's definitely a sleeper hit on the Saturn if you ask me. A spiritual successor to Landstalker, if I remember correctly.

The HG101 article got me interested in this game and it is on my to-play list. Will I ever come around to playing, that's a different question haha. It seems to be a great game !

It was my first RPG and I've finished it in a single play. I was thilled by the genre. I've never thought a game could be so engaging and before midnight, the game was over. I think it took me 5 hours to finish the first parallel.
The controls were a bit difficult to master though. Some jumps are incredibly hard.
