Custom Signature Workshop

I was browsing the internet for those rad old-school forum signatures many of us love (and many of us hate!), because I wanted to make one for myself, which gave me an idea! Why don't I make them for everyone here who would want one?
In this thread, you can request a custom forum signature, and I'll get to work and make them based on the order they come in, and the time I have.
NOTE: I'm not making these by hand in photoshop or similar software, I'm using a tool I found online. This is fine though because it makes them uniform and very easy to adjust to your liking.

How do I request a Signature?​

Simple, young grasshopper. Just fill out this form below accordingly and copy/paste it into your post.

(To make it easier for you and me, add a thumbnail/link to the image you want me to use, unless you want to be surprised by something I choose based on your request!) Also, please see the examples below to get a gist of how they might look!

Request form (PASTE THIS INTO YOUR POST WITH YOUR REQUEST):
Size: Small (40px), Medium (70px), Large (100px)
Text: (Optional, you can have a sig without text if you want, just leave this empty or type None)
Text Alignment: Bottom Left/Right, Top Left/Right
Text Size: Small, Medium, Large
Text Color:
Font: Retro thick, Retro slim, Sans-Serif, Verdana, Comic Sans :nuts)
Border Color:
Border Thickness: Small (1px), Medium (2px) Large (3px)

I used to make forum signatures allot back in the day with photoshop CS2 after learning that program in high school and man I made so many of them. Sadly very few forums use forum sig today like we used back in the day so I quit making them

Well, you see, i would like to join you in jolly co-operation. However each time i see you in one place, you seem to disappear. It was only yesterday you were out side of sens fortress and then i found you on the end of a bolder cliff. Not to mention the sandy area next to a hydra!

Ah I used to love signatures way back when Gamespot was still worth visiting and had sub forums called unions. I made some gaming friends there like 20 years ago I still play with now and some I have never met as in other countries. Didn't even occur to me we could use them here despite seeing them they are so uncommon. I need one....

750x150 Mine is to the limit to a tee.
Maximum file size is massive 2 megs given that it is hard to make even the fanciest PNG that size.

Speaking of signatures, yours is from KOF 99, right? I adore the look of that stage, and the version of Esaka that plays on it. (At least, I think it does, I haven't played in ages.)

The tool is pretty simple, so I had to splice the images together manually, since they had opaque white backgrounds I tried my best to go for a place where there would be minimal background where they meet.
The text string was so long that it was a bit hard making it stand out, since the sigs are so small, but I did my best. If you want, I can try the bolder pixel fonts and see if it pops better.

Hopefully, it's not too disappointing!

I think this font works better personally, I also adjusted their names to be more visible, and added a simple orange/blue border to the lower one (other than that they're identical):

Likely, I am actually not entirely sure but one friend too said the small collection I have are from fighting games. Originally a friend asked me to scale some up pixel perfect to 1080p and I kept the results. I use couple for my terminal backgrounds, too bad windows does not support animated images as backgrounds like some Linux desktop environments and I always feel wrong using additional programs for that.


Here are rest of them:





Ironically the rain stage one at 1080p is over 2 megs while rest minus one more are less than 1. Really optimized loops that I love in old game design, also with beatmania menu music; they are usually 15 seconds long and you realize it only by seeing the actual file with progress bar.

Oh yeah, those are all SNK fighting game backgrounds originally, they look great!

(Incidentally, they're a mix of Last Blade 1&2, King of Fighters 200, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, and *I think* the biker scene is Art of Fighting 2. It's been awhile since I touched that one.)
