Hi guys, recently I was thinking about reviving my small Youtube channel but I really feel like I'm disconnected with what people watch nowadays and how they consume this kind of media.
I use to do game reviews that were 10 to 20-minute long, but not even I can stop and watch a video this long, unless I'm doing something in parallel like working on a second monitor.
My most popular videos (and with 'popular' I mean 10k views at best) are collections of small reviews of all games from a specific genre on an specific console, like "All Mega Drive Racing Games", which are evergreen videos because there are always someone who's after this kind of content.
Should I stick to this genre of videos or should I go back to single game reviews and just make them shorter (like 5~8min long)?
I was even thinking about removing all the bloat and just transform my videos into shorts/reels, since it's how people are consuming media these days.
Also, I've always used Adobe Premiere to edit, but I think I'm using a bazooka to kill an ant here, since I never do complex edits besides transitions and some image composition. Is there a software (on windows) that I can use to edit videos in a more straightfoward way?
Thanks guys, every opinion is appreciated.
