I always see these types of comments but this has never happened in the entire history of the game, it's just an unfunny shitpost people took to heart and think it's reality
Also, not defending Fort or anything, the game is boring as all hell and stale

I've played it on and off when friends invite me to, although it's been well over a year
It's one of those live service games where once you play 3 matches you've seen everything the update has to offer, even if they have more additions later down the line it's never anything substantial
Them adding IPs like this is really the only reason people play anymore, a good chunk of the playerbase seems to be older people now who know of these IPs and are just collecting skins at this point. Now that I think about it, they're wasting money till the game inevitably shuts down and they no longer get to have access to this stuff
