One media embed per post please. I think it will make thread easier to read and engage with. I'm sure many here have great ones to share ^_^ and so there is plenty of time, no need to dump all at once! But do what you want >_>

>B-b-but diapered you already made the covers/remix thread! This is duplicate!
Oh ho ho ho, how wrong you are!

Basically, a mashup is combining existing completed songs, there are no new musical additions. With that... Let's go! Let the fun begin!
I guess Tharja is ok but Fiora my FE <3 I also didn't know this was censored in the NA release and that was the joke with how the video starts :loldog

FALCON PUNCH! Still fiery, but with snow >_>

That first one was fire! Never heard it. Is that Portuguese?

Also, everyone should be ready to have songs forever ruined for them. You knew what you were in for when you entered this thread >_>

The Birthday Massacre - The Neverending Story

Emily Browning - Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)

One of the comments made me lol, I guess a cover is one of their most popular songs? And there might be truth to that, as I don't know this band other than this song >_>
Emily Browning - Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)
Manson cover is still my preference, but that one is great. I love the building intensity, and thought it was going to explode during last verse (wtf!? crank up that gnarly guitar you were building up with!), but then it kind of runs out of steam, at least for me ;_;

The original was done by James Brown, but I feel the Residents does a great job at really hammering home the fear and power of it. Out of all the Residents tracks, this one is more of a legitimately good song than a "I like it because it's different".

This blackened darkwave cover of The Cure's classic is just as good as the original imo

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Johnny Cash cover of the Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt". I liked the original NIN song, but there is a certain oomph that the Johnny Cash cover has over the original.

though it would be more correct to say a lot of videogame music sounds like T-Square. Sister Marian off this same album is particularly obvious

Listen to the keyboard lead at 1:10 and tell me it doesn't sound like something straight out of a Castlevania game, love it.

Hey people, before I discovered this song and I think it is very cool but I feel like this song sounds like a soundtrack from a video game from 80s or 90s and I find it hard to come up with what it is though hahaaaaa and it's driving me nuts so please you kind people help me can you tell?

thank you very much

Can't say it reminds me of any specific track from a game right now, but perhaps it could sound similar to something out of Tekken? Have you tried checking those game's soundtracks?

I'm thinking 3D car racer, 3D fighter, or shmup. Those are the genres that are most likely to feature this kind of music. However there are tons of games with soundtracks that could be comparable to this.
