Science fiction from the '80s and '90s, especially with mechs, has always been my thing.
This shmup isn't great, but it's a nice fighting jet.

It's one of the PC Engine's best shmups, and the cover art is by Yuji Kaida, who produced tons of magnificent illustrations for Gundam and Godzilla, among others.

hey guys

PC-Engine box arts are insane (to a level that i think it exceeds the actual vibes of these games)

but one that always grabs me is the one for Heart of Darkness! that demon shadow coming from them, the hole in the wall making it's mouth, the boy looking to the other side without noticing it like the dog, and the hand of an actual monster appearing in an other direction... the chracter design of the boy too... it's great and have the right feeling of playing it

Of all things, theres a christophere colombur rpg with epic cover art

I hate it when my tv starts leaking

I like every cover where it's a real model\diorama

I like this one so much I have it as a poster

All of the NAMCOT ones are really neat

I have to agree, the jap one looks pretty generic

I have a couple more instances of this rare phenomenom
It's like there was a mixup at the factory and they put the american cover art in the NTSCJ bin and the japanese one in the PAL bin

Much more intriguing than another "big face" cover
