Hello there,
I am a huge fan of CDRomance and I benefit from the "Repo" for quite some time now
.
Since its the best archive for retro games in my opinion, especially with its filter options and
detailed descriptions which I both highly appreciate, I joined the community.
And of course because it is required by now
....I tend to be a bit lazy about community stuff,
but I am happy to finally be a part of a network like this.
The most important thing first: Thanks a lot for what you guys are doing here
And about me:
I was born in the 90s so PS1 and GBC and Desktop were my introduction to gaming,
but in the meantime Snes, Megadrive, Dreamcast, PC-Engine and else got a place in my heart, too.
I am a huge fan of retro RPG's, Hack'n'Slays, Adventures, Strategy and some Shooters
and everything that is playable in CooP .....Racing, Horror and Sports are usually less of my taste.
My setup:
As my retro gaming machine I'm rocking an intel-Nuc with batocera-linux right now with
some 8-BitDo Controllers. I've tried a lot, but batocera works the best for me untill now.
I also experiment with different stuff like RaspberryPi's, R36Pro, Trimui, PyGame and so on....
Latley I've become kind of an OpenSource and Linux enthusiast and I am thinking about
abandoning Windows for Linux on my next gaming PC build, which should be possible by now, but I'd
love to hear from your experience with anti cheat and so on...But that surely is a Topic for itself
Thanks for having me
