Competed Captain Rainbow!

Last Thursday, I finally completed Captain Rainbow. I managed to get the good ending, and I had a blast with the game. While some parts were not translated since it was only 95% completed in translation, I used Google translate from my phone as a walkthrough to progress and it helped a bit. I won't go into spoiler territory, but the game is full of charm and wholesomeness. I highly recommend it.

Does the game end prematurely if you use the Sparkly to grant your own wish?

I love it when games end on my terms like that.

Yes. You can grant your own wish without befriending/helping everyone else which will end the game completely. This game has multitple endings. And you can't go back to the main game on that save file as it just tales you to the end credits.
