Retro collecting comes in all shapes and sizes, some get their games graded, some go for CIB Cartridge games. I want to know what you would consider your number 1 pick in your library. My contribution: My SNES Copy of Mortal Kombat 2 Signed by the complete playable cast of characters. I commissioned a company called Retro Game Crafts to alter one of their designs to frame my copy.

I don’t have much of a collection anymore, but the games I value the highest are the ones I have a special connection to.

My copy of The Great Battle for SFC was given to me by a very good friend before he moved really far away. We used to play it all the time on emulator when we were kids and we had a great time, even though we had no idea who the characters were!
It’s probably worth less than ten bucks, but for me it’s a prized possession.

No longer a collector since I sold majority of my games a few years ago. Although I did hold on to childhood/teenage nostalgic games [complete in box] of mine that go for a few pennies today.

My Holy Grails: Kirby's Dream Land 3, Mega Man 7, Pokémon Blue, Die Hard Arcade, Tales of Destiny, Silhouette Mirage, Galerians, Team Buddies, Xenogears, Cannon Spike, Tech Romancer, Gotcha Force.

Unfortunately I did end up selling Contra III, Gitaroo Man, Silent Hill 2, Rival Schools and Cubivore.

Physical copy of Phase paradox, as i am told this was an English game, released in japan only and never released anyplace else..

It is the mightiest jank that i have in my collection!
A survival horror which plays like absolute trash, but still fun.

What made the game more ridiculous beyond its game play, is that it is a sequel to a shoot-em up, called philosoma from ps1. A better game in terms of mechanics, but more or less a typical shooter.

CIB Digimon World with Card
CIB Bomberman 64
CIB Shining Force III
Wonderswan Crystal with Digimon Battle Spirit 1.5
Loose Earthbound
Tales of Destiny 2 missing manual
I have that Wizard of Oz DS game that is crazy expensive now
The special Tales of PS3 released only in Japan loose

Out of all that its kinda funny an Earthbound cart is worth the most. I would say my personal Holy Grail is Digimon Battle Spirit 1.5 because I wanted it since I was a kid reading gamefaqs but it was exclusive to japan.
