Does anyone ever get hit with a long lost memory you thought was gone forever?
I was hit with some childhood nostalgia of playing Captain Tsubasa Vol. II on the NES in Japanese. I don't know how I found it online, I must've been maybe 10, I just remember playing it on my cousin's old laptop with him after emulating it, today I was on RGT Repo looking for some old games to play and randomly stumbled upon it and saw that it has an English patch now, kinda crazy how that happens
So what's your childhood retro game no one really talks about nowadays?

A bunch. Inkheart sticks out because you held the DS like a book. The game itself wasn't even that good, I think. I actually don't remember much of it, besides that gimmick.

What I do remember being a really good game was Sonic Chronicles, and the two Sonic Rush games. There were a lot of good DS games that simply got overshadowed by their respective non-handheld counterparts.

This game was just amazing. It was like Mario, Sonic and Earthworm Jim all in one, and the soundtrack was unbelievable. It’s a classic but it’s kind of forgotten. If it was on more than PC it would be remembered as a timeless masterpiece.

Dude, my mom got me this randomly when I was a kid for whatever reason
This game is so awesome I have to replay it

Zenonia 1-3 for the phone.
I played the first on PSP not too long ago, it's pretty nice for what it is

Wario Land on my old gba. My grandparents got it for me at an estate sale when I was 9 and I think I wore out the buttons of that gameboy playing it nonstop.

Super Striker was the first cinematic soccer game I ever played, I actually did that on my Youtube channel years ago. Now I'm being reminded of Tecmo World Wrestling.

With the internet being what it is, I've found 'hidden gem' and 'games no one talks about' to be incredibly rare.

Actually surprised to have not been familiar with a couple games in this topic, so bravo everyone!

I don't know that I have one to contribute myself unfortunately.

Ducktales on GB maybe? Everyone talks about the NES version, not the GB version. Or Burai Fighter, also on GB? No one said they had to be GOOD games >.> (Ducktales is, Burai Fighter isn't)

First one i hold dear and very close to my heart, Klonoa, me and my cousin used to love just playing this on his PS1 whenever i used to go spend some time in my auntie's place

The second one is Army Men, i loved watching Toy story as a kid and having a game with the green toy soldiers was just so cool to my lil young brain lol

Third one is Fur fighters, this game just was so cool, i remember spending countless hours on the multiplayer mode just shooting and walking around the stages (The control scheme was kinda ass tho lmao)

I had this weird ass SNES game called Jim Power. It's got run n gun and shmup levels and they all look trippy and cool but the execution is very frustrating. Lots of trial and error and memorization. The music is AWESOME.

Another game I played a lot with my cousin when we were younger, although he liked it a lot more than me
It's a bit hard because I can't exactly remember which one isn't talked about a lot. Maybe Alien Hominid and Mario VS Donkey Kong
Its a shame Alien Hominid isn't talked about much today considering how great the game is and what a great indie success story it is, it's quite inspirational

I was always kind of an off-beat kid, and I wonder how much Shadowgate had to do with that. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, actually.

On a happier note, one time I was crusing through some remixes on Youtube, and found an arrangement of Super Mario Land's World 2. I had forgotten it completely, but I used to play the game just to hear that song; I must've been no more than 4 years old. Then we lost the GameBoy, and I never thought of it again. Funny how things get unearthed like that.
