Chess games

Does anyone know a chess game that has cool animations, like the pieces actually fight or do something fun? Would be awesome if it also had some built in lessons or tutorials, but either/or is totally fine.

I’m kinda disappointed I can’t find any anime chess games where the pieces fight it out. At this point I’m wondering if I’m better off just playing some sort of tactics or strategy game instead.

Battle Chess for Amiga has what you're looking for. Iirc it got remastered for Steam a while back if you can't be bothered to emulate the original.
