Challenge accepted [with minimum regret] Pikmin 1²

i beat the two main campaigns of Pikmin 1² and i decided to try out the randomizer. here's what day 1 looked like:

and here are some progress shots taken over my 6th[7th? i lost count] attempt over the course of about three hours:

Pikmin is so dang good man. That randomizer looks outright brutal, kudos for that victory.

you're welcome. i'm still working on pikmin251 alongside bikmin 269. my computer can't quite handle colossal caverns yet but i hae the game ready and set up for later.

a youtuber that i watch, Heff, has played through pikmin squared and tried twice to clear the randomizer. he had some of the same modifiers on that i did: more enemies, random stats and sizes for the enemies. there's also an option for random pikmin colors and sizes, less pikmin per enemy harvest, 50 pikmin only, permant candypop buds for white and purple pikmin. random acquirement order to pikmin and ship parts and ship parts can be turned into pikmin 2 treasures.

its insane and challenging. the seed generator uses pikmin icons to create the randomizer layouts. i had tried all ghost icons but the game kept crashing on day 5 at the forest navel. this time i put in all white pikmin with flowers. at some point i'll try out some of the other color combos.
