Doesn't look like a graphics overhaul but more likely a downgrade IMO, based on the few screenshots here: the colors are way too bright, Simon's sprite is unrecognisable and what are those plants and mushrooms ? Oh, well, it's CastleVania, I'll play it anyway...

This game looks graphically beautiful even though it is a Romhack from the First Castlevania.

All 3 NES Castlevanias have good rom hacks. 1 and 3 have the most original hacks though. 2 usually has QOL improvements. I'd like to see some new adventures done in the style of 2. That'd be neat. It'd be like the GBA and DS Castlevania hacks but in 8 bit.

Sorry buddy, when I see a new game on the Repo I always comment although I admit that my comments are monotonous and I almost always comment the same thing over and over again and I feel like I'll have to stop over-commenting on things like that in the Repo unless I try the games on my own and comment on my experience if I like it or not.

Dude, with all respect in the world, I'd like to ask you to reduce the redundant/empty/generic comments, please. It floods curators and mods feed of new comments, making it way harder to follow people's feedback and active discussions.
