Although it has its buts such as that the Jump physics are not better than the Mega Drive/Genesis version despite the fact that the Jump physics in that version are not the best either and also that the First Boss can be a difficulty peak because those blades receive damage and you have to avoid them and you also have to hit it 4 times to jump it in sitting and it gave me a lot of problems to defeat it even with save states through emulation.
One of the greatest platformers ever made (and I agree, better than the Genesis version) Simple but so much fun to play and great controls. A timeless classic.
The Mega Drive version has more of a playable Disney short film vibe, it's more about the atmosphere and aesthetics. This version is a more robust and elaborate platformer, where the gameplay is the standout part.
